Keeping entertained during the Stay-Home Order

We are all feeling the effects of the COVID-19 crisis right now in many different ways. On top of the financial struggles a lot of us are fearing currently, we are now all stuck inside whether it be with our families or by ourselves.

Something we are doing here at Chapelo Photography to help provide some fun and entertainment for families and kids of all ages (& partially for ourselves), is holding a weekly photo competition! The contest will be held once a week, every week until things start to go back to normal and our families aren't going stir crazy anymore. Every week the theme for the image you will be submitting will change, and will be open to public voting! Remember, this is supposed to be a fun contest where kids 4-18 can join in, so don't worry about having a fancy camera or any camera at all! (A phone camera will do just fine). There will be 3 top winners picked every week each receiving an 8x10 print of their entry picture, as well as 1 top winner who will receive a gift card to a local small business in Lebanon, Ohio. This is the 1st week of the contest and the theme of this week is your favorite toy! Even if you're a teenager or you're too old to play with toys, you probably still have your old favorite toy or stuffed animal lying around somewhere so it's time to put it to good use again.

There are only so many ways to keep yourself and your kids entertained when you're at home for days at a time, so we thought this would be a good way to spice things up while creating fun memories with photos that you can keep and look back on after the current crisis is over.
