This week we had ourselves a pretty snow day. When my kids were little I used to get just as excited about a snow day as they did. It was a great excuse to stay in our PJ's and bake cookies and drink hot cocoa with whipped cream on top. I have always hated the cold, but who can deny the beauty of a fresh fallen snow. Now that they are grown snow days have lost a little bit of the magic for me. But this week I got to bring the magic of the snow day back by photographing portraits in the snow. Kylie is not only beautiful she was a great sport. She showed up with amazing gowns and never once complained about the cold. Kylie was a joy to photograph when we did her senior pictures so I had no doubt she would be just as much fun for a quick snow session.
